If you’re looking to plan an engagement session in the city, my answer will always be yes ... and Ceara & David’s Boston Seaport engagement session is exactly why.
The Seaport is one of my favorite locations for engagement photos in Boston. Between the waterfront views, modern city architecture, glowing holiday lights, and tucked-away spots you’d never expect, it offers so much variety in a single session, especially during the winter months.
We met and started their session at Snowport, which set the tone right away. The twinkling lights, cozy walkways, and festive energy made it such a fun and relaxed place to begin – perfect for a winter engagement session in Boston that still feels warm and intimate. After Snowport, we ducked into a small bookshop and coffee spot nearby to warm up and slow things down. These quieter moments are always some of my favorites during city engagement sessions.
We wrapped up the session at Fan Pier, catching sweeping harbor views and that unmistakable Boston skyline as the light faded. Ending there gave us the best of what a Boston Seaport engagement session has to offer – cozy, candid moments paired with iconic city scenery. Ceara & David were absolute naturals together. From laughing their way through the city to settling into those quiet in-between moments, their engagement session felt relaxed, genuine, and completely them. This is exactly why I love photographing Boston engagement sessions – the city gives you room to move, explore, and let moments unfold naturally.
Huge thanks to Boston Seaport and GrubStreet for allowing us to photograph in their beautiful spaces, it made this engagement session even more special.
Ceara & David, thank you for trusting us to capture this chapter. I had the best time documenting your engagement session in Boston’s Seaport District, and I’m so excited to photograph your wedding day next 🤍
